Many thanks to Shane of Colorado Volvo Group for help with both letting locals know about it, and as an idea sounding board. Also thanks to my mom and her husband Mike for letting me borrow a bunch of stuff, and for the guacamole(!). And of course Brett and Nadja for bringing so much stuff and two pugs, and Noe and Megan, and for everyone else (sorry I can't remember who brought what, and names) for bringing so much food and good cheer. What a great time.
Several owners came from outside the Denver metro area including Bailey, Colorado Springs, and Fort Collins. Cheers to you.
I've omitted many names because I don't know if you're good with exposure, given how the internet is.
Also thanks to my good friend Joe, who is, very sadly, not a Volvo enthusiast, and to my friend since high school Johnny, for helping set up. Johnny owned a blue 245 in the 1990s so he's ok. And last but not least, thanks to my son, who put in work to make this happen.
Here's to the next 25 years of Volvo DIY. I better end this, getting "hit in the feels" right now.
