I've posted before about searching for this part. I see a discrepancy between photo on internet and Volvo parts diagram.

I've posted before about trying to find this part. The only photos on the internet, for instance on iZAP24, show some sort of outlet or port along the length. The Volvo diagram shows nothing like that. I bought a part from a used part dealer 2 days ago and they assured me it was 30637964. No outlet along the length. I've found a photo of another part, 31269041 that looks exactly like my part, and it's listed as fitting a 2006 s40----? Also, same drawing comes up when inputting either part number.

Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.
Also -> Amazon link. Click that when you go to buy something on Amazon and MVS gets a cut!

Yes, that's the diagram that comes up when you input either part number.

I'm not doing the work myself, so I'd have to have it towed to the garage, an hour diagnostic, and a tow back home if it's not correct. Thank you for replying.

I was looking at your other thread viewtopic.php?t=108438.
Can you post up the picture your mechanic gave you, of the corroded part?
It would be helpful to see what you know of the pipe, and to see the oil cooler on your car.
