My outside temperature gauge does not seem to be working as I would expect it to. It seems to creap up when the car is stopped or parked.
I seem to recall reading that there was some issue related to this but I'll be damned if I can find it.
Can anyone offer up some suggestions. Is this a known issue?

I'm not sure if this is an issue with the V50 but my 850 shows a higher temp when stationary because of the location of the sensor.

Bill.At low speeds, or when the car is not moving, the temperature readings may be slightly higher than the actual ambient temperature.
Work was good - retirement is better.

Hm, mystery solved. I knew I read something about this somewhere. My other Vvos also tend to creap up when they are not moving but none of them as much as this one does........billofdurham wrote: This is from the V50 owner's manual:
