240 DL 1990 brake light switch

1990 240 DL 5 speed tranny
I thought i found the brake light switch --wrong it was the cruse control switch--where is the brake light switch
hiding?

The brake light switch is on the brake pedal bracket behind the pedal. It has 2 x blue/red wires and 1 x green/yellow wire.

The cruise control brake switch has 1 x blue/red wire, coming from the brake light switch, and 2 x white black.

Keep looking, it is there.

If you are removing/replacing the brake light switch it needs to be adjusted so that the brake lights come on when the pedal is depressed about 1/2".

Ok i go look again in the morning--after i stretch my neck out a little

It is a nice bright morning and thanks to your help i have found the brake light switch--can't see but i can feel it--looks like a major feat to replace it--should i remove the speedometer cluster or remove steering column support?
