Air pump 97 v70 XC

Hi

Ive been trying to disconnect the power to the air pump to see if its the cause of my whining noise. Is there a fuse I can pull or do you know the location of the power connection.

01/01/05 - I've found a main fuse for the starter motor/air pump.
Started the car and pulled the fuse. The whining noise
just keeps on going........................
