I need to replace the cabin blower and resistor pack in my ''05 XC9, and would like to try and do it myself. Has anyone done this? How accessible are the blower and resistor?
Thanks for any tips!

Welcome to Matthew's Volvo Site.
I naively thought that Volvo had moved away from making the blower unit inaccessible but looking at VADIS I find that the XC90 has gone full circle and you need to remove the dashboard. Plus the steering wheel, glove box, centre console and several other bits including, for some reason, the handbrake cable at the terminal by the release lever.
Bill.
