transmission problem

transmission problem

i have a 93 850 manual transmission. while driving it today to a call i foudn that i couldnt shift into third or any lower gears. didnt hear anything because i had a siren running. it wont shift into anything other than 4,5 and reverse. anyone have any ideas what the problem might be.
