After market reversing sensors

HI Guys, I have a 2004 Volvo S80 D5 auto 10K and wish to fit aftermarket rear reversing sensors . Has any one fitted these themselves and if so what is the procedure.

1. Do I have to remove the rear bumper to compete this task ?

Will an Alex Pepper OBD 2 system work on the Volvo ? http://www.obd-2.com


ANY additional advice would be very hepful.

FYI I run the ford scorpio forum ( www.fordscorpio.co.uk) and have always had fords but this new motor seems to be the best alternative. So please be gentle with me . I'm old and fragile ,

Hi I installed mine myself, a really easy job, had mine installed and working in 2 hrs. I bought mine off ebay, and was lucky to get a set that just happened to be a very good colour match.
Only a couple of wires to connect, but you DO NEED to remove the rear bumper, but it's very easy, just make sure you have someone help holding it when you replace it so as not to scrath the paint.
It really does help in reversing into parking bays as I find the rear veiw very restricted

The Alex Pepper software will not work on your car.
