just purchased a 2000 volvo s40 1.9T !!!NEED HELP & TIPS!!!

can anybody tell me what to expect from new car?
I traded it for a plane 2000 nissan altima 4 banger with a 2.5 liter engine.when I saw this volvo with the luxurios interior and a smaller and more economical engine and a cute body designe (not squery) I had to buy it, used...
my Nissan had 150,000 miles
the Volvo has 132.000 miles
no crash history, full black leather int. dark blue body,
power windows and locks, sun / moon roof, cd changr, automatic trans. and little wipers on the headlights. realy cute car.
did I make a mistake or did I make a good deal.?

I don't think it's a mistake- just do the regular maintenace and you should be fine. I suppose the first thing I would do is change all of the fluids (be careful- your car takes a special transmission fluid that is not carried by most places- check your manual, but I believe it's JWS-3309 fluid- you can find it is made by Mobil and you can order it off line if you need it- Volvo's same fluid is crazy expensive) unless you know the history of it...also check your engine mounts and at those miles it may need new struts and shocks. How does it drive? My brother-in-law has a '03 S40 that's basically the same car as yours- same colors and he loves it!

I had those parts checked and it seems that I do need engine mounts and the rear shocks are real bouncy on speed bumps.
