Front End Vibration

Post by kmoney »

I have a '04 S60 2.5t with 116,000 miles on it. It had a slight vibration when I bought it a year ago that has become much worse. It's the worst around 60 while coasting. When I get into the throttle it goes away a little. Tires have been balanced and rotated. I had a blow out a few months back on the right front and it seems worse since then. When I had the timing belt replace the garage said I needed lower control arm bushings, but seems odd that this vibration would be from that. I could be wrong though. Any suggestions would be appreciated so they don't start throwing parts at me.

Do you know what a lower control arm is?
It probably IS the reason and not "odd" at all for your shaking.

At over 100K miles, most of these need to be replaced.
