1998 s70 blower motor location

Where is the blower motor and relay located on a 1998 S70?

They are all in the same place- under the glove box and behind the knee bolster. What's up with yours? Do you think it needs replacing?

not sure, the fan does not blow any more at any setting. I did notice that when you start the car, a couple of the lights on the heater controls alternate flashing.

flashing lights is an indication of the blower issue...but you also have a blower power pack next to it which could be bad and causing the blower not to come on. Get under there and you'll see the blower motor...Try hooking up 12V directly to it. If the fan comes on, it's the power pack. If it doesn't then it's the blower itself. If you keep trying to use if even tough it's dead it could cause the power pack to also die.

I have power going to the blower motor but when the key is turned on the motor does not work. What exactly is the power pack you speak of?

Sorry...also called the resistor pack. The fins stick through to the vent ducts...it looks like this and has a connector on it for a wire plug...your fan plugs into it:

This is what controls the on/off of the blower motor as well as the blower speed.
