2002 S60 AWD Power Door Locks

Recently bought an 02 S60 with 99K miles on it. My 99 S70 was destroyed by a deer in November and I am still getting used to the 60 and its horrible turning radius etc...anyway...the power door lock buttons only LOCK the doors. When I hit the button, all the doors lock. Hit it again and the doors lock again. I cannot unlock the doors with the button. A real pain when trying to retrieve something from the back seat. Any ideas?

Check and make sure all of your doors are locked. My rear driver's side door doesn't always lock (actuator must be on its way out) and, if it doesn't, and I hit the button again, it just tries locking the doors again.

(Also, I know what you mean about the turning radius...

)

Try it with the actual key several times and then with your FOB and panel buttons.

Yes yes, good point. If one of the locks is sticking, you'd have a problem with it with the remote as well. (And maybe the key? Does the key unlock all of the doors? I haven't tried ever...)
