I have a failed seat back activation cable in my 1995 854T. Bought a new one from FCP Groton. However, the Haynes manual (of course) has nothing on the subject. Anyone know a quick link to the replacement procedure before I wind up with torn leather and foam all over the place?
Thanks!

Those should help. Let us know how it goes. If you have a camera and want to document your fix, that would be super.

Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.
Also -> Amazon link. Click that when you go to buy something on Amazon and MVS gets a cut!

Really not too bad. And I used zip-ties to reattach my seat covering as I didn't have hog-rings or the pliers needed to use them... Zip ties have worked fine, though
And I didn't even bother buying a new cable. I just fixed my old one by removing a chunk of the cable sheathing (so that the end of the cable protrudes more) and then taping the two parts of the sheathing together. Has been going strong for ~4 years now

Thanks, gentlemen. I will take photos of the procedure...assuming I don't make too much of a mess of things.
