It WAS Too good to be true...

First off, I have a 1978 242DL with a B21f and an auto. Interior is shot, exterior needs work, TAIL LIGHTS ARE CRAP!

I have searched, and searched, and I think I finally found my tail light lense... I went to swedishcarparts.com, and I scrolled down and there they be sitting, Four Panel Chrome Rim Hella Tail Lense. $50 a piece.

Now here is the fun part, waiting on their email to tell me whether or not their site tells the truth or not.

I deperately need the lense. The ones on my car look like someone held a torch to the inside lower panel on both lenses.

Has Anyone had any dealings with swedishcarparts.com?
If so, what were the outcomes?

Well, just my luck, They Discontinued those lenses two months ago...

Why does NO ONE carry them anymore???

Because the cars are so old they are now few and far between. Most dealers/parts suppliers will not stock parts that they may never sell. That leads to financial suicide.

I recently went to a bankruptcy clearance where there were brand new parts going back to the 1950s. They were being sold off at ridiculously low prices, much to the joy of my friend who is restoring three Austins.
