Volvo S70 Service light reset?

I found this method on here but it doesnt work for me:
Turn key on pos 1 while holding the odometer reset button. Keep holding it in and turn key to pos 2. Wait for service light to flash. Its now reset

Is there any other way to reset this or I have to take it to the dealer

I think if your car is pre '99 you need a reset tool.
I (also) think ipd sells 'em.

You got it... 96-97 850's and '98 x70's have to have a tool to reset the service light...a pain.
Several options here:
1. take the bulb out- it's an annoyance anyway.
2. have the dealer reset it.
3. buy a special tool such as the Draper Reset Tool (check on ebay) like I did...unfortunately, IPD no longer sells such a tool.

But the Draper tool on eBay HAS gotten cheaper this year.
