The Platinum at night with a strobe:

The car is a chameleon, it changes color based on the ambient light due to its three layered paint job. During the day it looks like a bad white paint job but it lights up the night and the sunsets.

This is my most recent acquisition - I bought it from the original owner. It is a Turbo wagon with a manual transmission original from the factory. Any others out there in either Canada or U.S?

I'm going to work on getting the center and driver's side front grilles that were either stolen or fell off.

Also, for anyone interested in how to get their trim back to dark, I highly recommend TrimShine. Works very well, super easy to use, and is rather cheap!

I bought this car 2 days ago for $500. It has had it's timing belt replaced, all of it's fluids flushed and refilled, the leather was re-conditioned, the entire dashboard and controls were cleaned and detailed, and everything else was either scrubbed or brushed. There was nothing wrong with the interior save for a few small spots of rust on the bottom of the rear hatch door. The undercarriage has zero rust. This car was well taken care of by it's previous owner and was sitting in the driveway months before I came and got it.

It has only 2 issues. It has a hole in the exhaust and the engine's full note can be heard rather loudly. Nothing $200 dollars can't fix. The climate control fan is burnt out. Another $40 or so and this car is in near perfect condition. It has 238,000 miles on it and feels and looks like it has 50,000. Sorry for the babbling but I guess I'm just excited

My 2000 XC70 SE.
It has that same wonderful paint job that Ozark Lee has - lt. gray in some light and a deep champaign in other light. I think it's called Moondust. These pics show it in grey mode. This has been a very reliable and inexpensive car to operate so far. Only $143 in repairs over the past year.
