My S60 originally came with 15" wheels. Can larger wheels
be installed ? I"m looking to instal 16" rims from another volvo Volvo manual cautions against using different wheel dimensions then what the car came with to prevent damage to transmission.
s60 2002 - using different size wheels
The caution is for going outside Volvo wheel combinations of tires and rims. Yours is a non-turbo is presume. Any Volvo 16" rim with 205/55/16 tire will be perfect.

That's what I thought, too... Although, I think the 17" rims are still an option on the T5.Wildman wrote:I though the stock wheels were 16 inch, and the optional wheels (std for T5) are 17 inch. Mine has 17s. Go to tirerack.com

The 205/55/16 is the same height as the 195/65/15. The 215/55/16 is 1/4" higher and and 10 times less popular than the 205. It's a bit odd, and will never gain favor since the industry is already going to larger rim sizes.
