disconnect the battery

Will anything "bad" happen if I disconnect the battery on my 2002 Volvo S60 2.4t? Is there a radio code, will any dash warning lights come on if i do something wrong, etc?

Nope, no radio code. When reconnecting the battery, reconnect the positive terminal first; then go inside the car, turn the key to the "II" position, exit the car, then reconnect the negative terminal. This makes sure all the computers come up properly. Do not re-enter the car until the "SRS" light turns off, or has stayed on for more than two minutes (indicating an SRS fault).
