Need help with Volvo V70

So I bought a 2001 V70 Cross Country in November of last year. I had the local dealership do some maintenance work (i.e. timing belt, tensioner, brakes, oil change, etc...) I had to trade my left kidney to get my Volvo back, but who really needs two kidneys anyway?

I like to do my own maintenance and would like some pointers for my model. I see a undercarriage pan that needs to be removed before an oil change could take place. Does anyone have a step-by-step instruction sheet on doing an oil change for this model? Also, My rear view mirror has a split in it and is not displaying the digital compass. Would anyone have one for sale or be able to shoot me in the right direction? Thanks for your help and patience!

I would try looking on either ebay or at the FCP website for the mirror.If you dont see the mirror on the FCP website try calling them.I recently got a part from them that was not shown on the website but that they did have in stock.There links and banners for the site in many places here including top of the page. Good Luck

Need to pull the belly pan off. Need special filter wrench to remove the housing (can buy from ipdusa, fcpgroton)

I think if you replace the mirror, you might need to visit dealer to marry it to your car for it to work (auto dim)

I'm no expert... but the vehicle immobilizer is part of that mirror/compass deal. It won't be plug & play from a salvage car.
Save that other kidney... you might need it for this fix.
