Hi, I'm new here. I have what may be a stupid question but where in the heck is the dipstick to check trans. fluid on this car? I assume it has one. Maybe I'm just blind or need better lighting in my garage. I need to check fluid level because it is starting to pause between 1st and 2nd as the revs go way up followed by a hard shift. We've only had this car 2 months and it has 74,000 miles.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

it is under your air intake hose, very far down deep...between the front of the engine and air filter box...look down far- it has a small yellow handle on it...you'll have to clasp it to get it loose so you can pull it up. Check your fluid with your engine running and in Park after running through all of your gears for several seconds at time...even if the engine is warm, "cold" will be the side you check...best and most accurate reading is after you have run your car for at least 20 minutes on the highway...read on the "hot" side.
