Hello to all,
I have a 90 240dl that ran and just quit. Fuel pump relay has no power to it and fuzes all are OK. I tried to find the "main relay" on the schematic but can't quite find it.
thanks for the help.
jim
what or where is the "main relay" in fuel injected 240dl

Welcome to Matthew's Volvo Site.
Did you check the 25 amp blade fuse on the left wheel housing next to the ignition coil?
As far as I know there isn't a 'main relay' on the 240.
Bill.

hi Bill,
there is a 30 amp holder flopping around near the battery but I will go outside tomorrow and see if there are any other fuses floating around.
I just saw the schematic and realized that the relay they talk about is the fuel pump relay. It is not cutting in and I tried to bypass it and got no +12v but now that I figured out what the drawing is, I will try some point to point and see where I loose it. Had a lot of bad connectors with this old thing so thats what I suspect. I will let you know what I find.
