Hi Guys,
I/m looking for some help with my aircon for my SE Sport. The aircon suddenly stopped working. I found the low pressure switch tripped on low pressure and thus stopping the compressor clutch from energising. Luckily enough i am am fridge engineer by trade but dont do car aircon. Anyway i found the low side connection and sure enough no gas pressure, all gone.
I have put Nitrogeon into the system through the low side and that pressure has held for 3 days now.
My concern is, where was the leak, cos now its holding pressure, but to double check i need to know where the high side connection is and check the pressure at this point.
If the pressure this is good then i dont no how i've lost gas, unless it was let out at a garage!! Sorry to waffle.
Air con high side connection

Some Volvo's don't have a high side...the only way to deal with adding gas, etc. is to make sure the compressor is running. I'm not sure about your car- it's too new for me to have any data on it.
