S40-V40

I am just getting rid of a 240 and I have a few questions on the S/V40...

Do they all have the 5 cylinder engine?
How do they compare in size with the 240 that I have?
Can regular gas be used without harm or does hi-test have to be used?
On the S40 is there some kind of a "pass-through" in the rear seat or does the seat fold down?

Thanks in advance for any info you can give me.

They have 4 cylinders and the non-turbo's can use regular gas. On the model my brother-n-law has the seat folds down and there's a pass-through ('03 model). I don't know about the newer '04.5's (changed mid year '04) or the older ones before '01. There are 3 renditions of the S/V40's.

Thank you for the information. Is it the newer S40's that have the 5 cylinder or another model all together? Also, do you think the S40 is about the size of my old 240 or is it smaller?

I know until the latest rendition of the S/V40, they were all 4 cylinder- not sure about the newest ones. If believe inside room is slightly smaller in at least an S40 than a 240 sedan. I've been in both but it's been awhile.
