Socket A-2 (fuel system)
511: Long term fuel trim lower limit at idling
512: Short term fuel trim lower limit
I actually got 512 right now and am not sure what to do about it. Someone somewhere mentioned this (possibly from the service manual?):
If the short–term fuel trim remains lean for more than 3 minutes and engine temperature exceeds 75°C (167°F), DTC 5–1–2 is set.
Not sure what would be the most likely cause. Aging fuel pump? Clogged fuel lines? Some sensor gone bad?
