Small hose identification
Small hose identification
I noticed a small hose in the front of my 94 850 Turbo that was disconnected. The hose to the left includes the connecter and has suction. Another hose on the drivers side also was not connected, though without any suction. I connected the two and didn't notice anything, though the suction noise became quite. Here's a picture:

Either the turbo gauge hose or the Evap , it is a little to close to see where everything is going.
If your Turbo gauge is now working thats the one....in the diagram below it is referred to as the "pressure gauge"
Below is a link to the vacuum hose diagram,(94 850 Turbo) you should have one on the inside of the hood, near the left hand side hood hinge .

Well that seems to be correct, I noticed that unplugged, my turbo gauge sits unmoving in the center. After being connected, the gauge moves quite a bit into the left, with hard acceleration it reaches the center. Of course I can imagine it should go a bit farther into the white, but at least I know what that cable is for. Thanks a lot for the quick reply.
