'94 850 N/A died at stop and while running.

1994 850 n/a developed a problem. Backed out of drive-way and car died. Ran fine for the 40 mile commute. Started fine in parking lot, ran a few minutes and died and had problems re-starting. Once restarted, ran fine for the 40 miles home. This car runs like a champ normally. Not a miss nor a hiccup. What could be the problem? I removed the MAF sensor, cleaned with CRC and also cleaned the wire connector pins with CRC. Restarted an ran fine. Could this have been my problem?

Do you have any codes from port A-2? If so, post them back.

I pulled codes:
131 - no rpm signal
241 - low egr flow
314 - no cam signal
Replaced cam sensor, fuel filter, spark plugs, dist. cap and rotor. Runs like a champ. Fuel economy has increased to 30+ mpg.

Thanks for posting back as to your solution.
I would have suspected cam sensor from your description.
It was good you did a tune-up at the same time!
