Stalling and hesitation, not from ETM
What else have we found that can cause stalling and acceleration jumps from 1800 to 2300 RPMs, other than the ETM?

1. A mal-adapted fuel trim table (caused by bad sensors, etc. that are replaced but the trim table is not reset (by disconnecting the battery for awhile on S70s)). The fuel map should be seen as a smooth rolling snow covered landscape with no "moguls" or even worse, canyons or Matterhorns!
2. Poor electrical contacts in the connectors, especially the ETM. I was getting repeatitive surges and hesitations a couple of months after swapping my ETM. I was thinking of sending it back to XeMODex but I tried spraying contact cleaner on, and reseating, both the ETM and MAF connectors, then resetting the fuel trim and the problem instantly, completely and, at least for a month now, permanently went away. Compared to signal connections, the actuator on the ETM requires a relatively high current, so clean contacts are a must.
