I am quoting this verbatim from my receipt. "Scanned for codes and found ECM-8010 for battery voltage. Found battery cables corroded and cable to the starter is hitting 177 degrees."
Picked the car up from the dealer about an hour ago. The car drove fine for the first 25miles. The problem is happening again! ugh!
Highly ticked off... There was less than 2 gallons of gas in the car when I picked it up, there was over a half-tank of gas when it was towed there! grrrr!
The car is blowing out blue smoke every time I hit the gas! I checked the dipstick, the oil was full (at the max line on the dipstick) for over a week before towing it in, right now it is sitting at the min line of the dipstick. It wasn't blowing smoke prior, and I didn't have an oil consumption issue. Is this normal after an ETM cleaning, perhaps?
I guess the cleaning of the ETM was a temp fix? Damn it. If I didn't live so far from the dealer, over an hour drive away, it would be right back there right now. I will have it towed there *again* tomorrow.
Will never buy another Volvo...
