940 Turbo Wagon 1993: Sunroof wont close

Hello. My dog likes to ride with his head out the sunroof. He pushed back on the sunroof when it wasn't fully opened and now it wont close all the way. How can I fix this? Thanks!

Have you tried closing the roof using the emergency manual method in the Owner's Manual?

Hello Bill, I have looked all over and can not find the owner's manual. Do you know the process the manual would have suggested? I am game for anything you suggest. Thunderstorms are forcasted for later this week...

Emergency sun roof operation

If, because of an electrical fault (e.g. a blown fuse), it is not possible to operate the sun roof electrically, then it is manually.
First, using a small screwdriver, remove the two screws that secure the sun roof motor cover to the headliner. Then using a screwdriver, depress the white plastic clutch pin in the center of the motor screw (see illustration) and turn the screw to close or open the roof as desired.
