94 850 high center brake light

94 850 high center brake light
Bulb failure dashlight came on, and sure enough the high center brake light is out. I replaced the bulb, which said 21W, with a Sylvania 7506LL, also 21W. All looked fine, so I went to bed. Today the bulb failure lamp was back on, and the brakelight wasn't coming on. Our daughter repo'd the car, so I haven't had a chance to pull the new bulb and look at it. Where to go from here, 850 vets?

Are you sure the bulb was out? It could also be corrosion on the connectors or a bad wire.

Right on, Vegas. Bulb is good, jiggled lug connectors and scraped contact surfaces. All is fine now. Thanks.
