1999 S80 T6 low compression on #2 cyl
Have 45 psi on #2 cyl also noisy valves on start up.where do I start? Also can cam cover be removed without removing cam gears. Having trouble findind engine repair manual for this engine. send email to [email protected] Thanks

How many miles on the engine?
You can try pouring some oil into the cylinder and checking compression again. If it comes up, the problem is probably the ring pack.
You can try Seafoam or www.auto-rx.com to try to free up the rings if that's the problem.
You can buy a program called VADIS on eBay that shows how to work on the car. Or post up questions here and we can load some PDFs and add our expertise.

I oiled cyl but no help I'm thinking I need to look at vavle train .Engine has 175000 mile . I have VADIS but not working correctly won't let me to repairs only parts. I might have to reload it. THANKS
