Flickering interior lights

Twice now (that I have noticed) several of my dash lights have come on and flickered for a few seconds. It was raining the one time and the other time I was on a bumpy road.
Any suggestions?

Chances are it is the dimmer rheostat going bad. Try sliding it back and forth a few times to try to clean it. If it is left in the same place all the time it grows a dead spot.

Thanks Lee I will try that. The lights that flicker are the dash warning lights though like the check engine and a few others all at the same time.

Ahh, chances are that it is your alternator then. Anytime the alternator warning comes on it also illuminates the bulb failure indicator, the washer fluid level indicator, the parking brake indicator, the coolant level indicator, and the brake warning indicator.

I have no idea why they made the instrument cluster that way.

I would start by inspecting and cleaning the connections on the alternator since it is just random.
