xc90 wheel options

Post by stone36 »

Does anybody know what my wheel size options are on an XC90 FWD? I have the 18's now but I think I have seen some on ebay as small as 15's. I think that was only on the 03's and maybe 04's

What I am looking to do is find some extra rims for snow tires so I don't have to buy 18" tires. It looks like they have the 108 bolt pattern, but I am worried about brake interference if I go to small.

If 15's/16's do fit, are there any draw back to having them with a snow tire?

Thanks

I have an 04 XC 90 that came stock with 18s. I found some 17s at tirerack.com that works well with my Blizzaks. It fits over the brakes just fine, and the snow tires are a little more affordable than the 18s.

17"s are the smallest you can have to clear the front brakes.
