Off Brand Acc. Idler Pulley

Post by jakeizchillin »

So I've had this crazy noise that sounds like a the acc. belt slipping. I changed the belt and it has not gone away. I also replaced the tensioner pulley and it is still there. My last hope is the idler pulley, and I was wondering if anyone has had any negative experience with pulleys found on ebay such as this:

Thanks!

I would trust even an aftermarket from FCP more than I would that part. They call it out as a universal whereas FCP has different idlers depending on the engine serial number and whether or not it has EGR. They are about the same money.

How do I tell if my car is EGR or not?
