lost keys ...help
I have a chance to purchase a v 70 but the lady has lost the keys ...what would be the best way to get a key made for the ignition and doors without having one to copy thanks in advance ,love this site !

If the locks are original the dealer will be able to supply keys - at a dealer price!!

Bill is right, the keys are coded with a chip and it isn't like the older cars where the laser cutting was the big issue.
If you have the VIN you can call either Don or Jamie at Darrell Waltrip Volvo and get a price - (800) 689-0021. You can also try myvolvopartsonline.com or myswedishparts.com . My local stealership is list price plus 40% so mail order may be the way to go if you decide to proceed.
The keys won't be cheap.
