Help! XC V70 Cross Country - No speedometer 5 warning lights

My 2000 Cross Country V70 AWD throws me 5 warning lights, (brake, check engine, track, flashing arrow), I've replaced the 02 sensor and the speed sensor, but still get the lights and no speedometer or odometer. Any guesses for me??

I would say you need to repair your ABS control box, Ozark Lee has a great post here on Matt's Volvo Site about how to remove and repair this yourself with a soldering iron. Or there are several people who you can sent it to for repair. Either way, it's much more economical than going to the dealer.

The flashing arrow I believe is related to the transmission, when or has the automatic transmission fluid ever been changed? It should look red/burgundy on the dip stick, which is yellow plastic and under the air intake hose leading into the air cleaner box on the passenger side. If the trans. dipstick hasn't been out in a while, be careful not to break it, I know ours was pretty well stuck when we got it.

Thanks for the tip, sounds like the ABS Module may be the culprit??

There are only two kinds of ABS modules, those that have failed and those that are going to fail.

If you can post the codes it will help but it sounds like your module is kaput.

The brake warning light is not related however, check your brake fluid level.

Thanks again. It's been throwing codes PO422, P1550, P1618, P0722

Really love the car but these electrical issues are driving me nuts.
