Good Evening,
Does anyone know the size of the bolt head on the crankshaft pulley? I'm supposed to turn the pulley to line up the timing belt, etc. when I remove the belt to take the head off (I'm doing the head gasket), but I don't know what size the bolt head is. I know it's larger than 19mm (the largest socket I have in metric), so if someone has any ideas I'd be most grateful.
Also, I've relieved all the fuel pressure from the line, but when I try to remove the line to fuel rail, it really won't budge. I've got the right size wrenches, so I'm assuming I just need to soak it in WD-40 since it's 19 years old, but if anyone else has experience removing that line I'd be glad to hear about it.
Thanks!

The crankshaft bolt is 24mm.
I haven't had this problem with the fuel line so can only say use the WD40 letting it soak in for a good while before trying again.
Bill.

Thanks, Bill.
I now need to know how to get the lower half of the timing belt cover off without removing the crankshaft pulley so I can see the lower timing marks. My timing marks are lined up on the camshaft, but I want to make sure the lower marks are okay. I loosened the two bolts I could find, but I still can't get the lower cover off. Anyone?

Scratch that last one, I can see the marks.
However, I'm trying to loosen the timing belt or something so I can get the head off the block. The camshaft pulley nut won't budge, so I can't pull the belt there. Is there any way to get the head off without removing the camshaft pulley?

You don't need to remove the timing belt completely to take off the head.
The attachment tells you how to do this:
