There's a joke hiding in that sentence I probably shouldn't post here lol.

Nice car! Very beautiful. Interesting about the AC button, I learned something new. (If it's a three terminal switch, it would seem like an easy "fix" by swapping two wires around and having it work like "normal" cars do.)

Same AC operation as in 850, at least in the Auto Climate Control cars. I believe Volvo's thinking was this:

"This is a luxury/performance car with high standards. AC would be something drivers would want and expect as default behavior. Input is necessary to turn it off, not on."

They nailed it in my opinion. This is the correct way to design for this standard of car.

It's like a nice hotel. You don't ask if a nice hotel's rooms have AC. You ask a Motel 6 if their rooms have AC.

I still can't believe how nice your 740T is, June. What an incredible score.

I took some underbody and suspension photos today. The only visible rust is under the battery tray where the horns are. I'm told the suspension is untouched including the struts. The utterly amazing thing is the alignment is perfect and no clunk or vibrations. The same cannot be said for my S80... this car reminds me what Volvo quality was all about! June

Looking really good.
Maybe a new copper ring for the oil drain plug.

Please say that rusty strut isn't on your car! Is that even safe? June
