2007 xc70 So what would cause brakes to be down to the floor? They say my brakes are fine, Now

A big truck mechanic told me he just sucked it out with a straw and spit it out.
Another Volvo fellow got air out of ABS by braking hard a few times on a snowy road. In a controlled manner, of course. Then he bled the brakes normally, air bubbled out.

Don't think straw or anything can let the air out if it's trapped behind closed valves.
