So I started looking at getting one of these again. I checked Amazon, and it's still marked unavailable. Then I did an Ebay and Google search. I found an MTC on Ebay for about $30 shipped.

No picture, but I decided to order it anyway. We'll see what arrives... if it arrives.

Interesting they don't show it fits and 2000 MY P80's other than the C70?? Fits 99 and older back to and including 850's though. Likewise curious to see what turns up!

I dont trust Ebay's fitment guide. It's worse than Amazon's in my opinion.

Twice the money than your eBay find. Looks like it fits all the P80s.

Looks like it only fits 850's. Does not fit V/S70 turbos or AWD's? I wonder if that is because turbos need more air to get into the engine bay, and AWD's maybe the angle gear and different engine mounts cause an issue?

Shipping is only $10.99 to me. Rockauto lists it for my S70, but not the 850, but Proparts seems to indicate the opposite.

If you click on the part number up to the top right it shows it fits 850's as well as S/V70's. Still don't think it would fit an AWD. The early AWD's had an oil cooler that hung below the car. That may be why it does not fit those. The later 99 on cars did not have that, certainly my 00 R does not. So it might fit, but still would be worried it might get too warm under the hood in the summer. If we ran the car in the winter then it might be good for that when the temperatures are low to heat the engine bay up quicker.

If you go to their Volvo catalogue page 245, it shows the part fits S/V70 as well on the same part number.

It was delivered today. The box is huge, bigger than it needed to be. The part looks decent to me, especially for $30, shipped. It's a bit bowed up, but I'm sure once it is installed and heats up it will bow down so that water will drain properly. I don't know if it's made the same way as the original Volvo part or not. It was made in Taiwan.
