In case anyone was wondering: I got my front end looked at and got good news! It was just a wheel bearing. A really bad one at that; they said they couldn't hear anything over it. They actually didn't mention anything about the leaking CV axle...

They still wanted $550 for the job :roll: but $55 for diagnostic aint too bad. Saved me $3k :) I'll grab an SKF and do it myself instead.
