All HVAC foam seals disintegrated from age and heat. I replaced them in my 05 XC70 about 4-5 years ago. The ones I've got brand new, in Volvo box, were also rotted, some of them. Tasca Parts ducked out and didn't take it back. I would advise to get a self-adhesive foam tape and use that, much cheaper and works as good.
