There is a thread here somewhere on junkyard parts that should not be left behind. Someone with better search skills will have to post the link, but that would give you an idea as to what to start hoarding.

Welcome to MVS, 850turbo95. That's a beauty wagon. Outstanding find.

I renamed your thread to get more responses.

You can look through this search search.php?keywords=nla&terms=all&autho ... mit=Search for what's hard to find, or impossible. It doesn't answer your question, but gives a rough idea of what's toast and what's soon toast (bread?).
Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.

There was a wierd adjustable intake runner option in 1993 that , if you have it, don’t be easy to fix. It might not be on turbos.

Turbos on these cars don’t break, especially at 93k miles. Nothing really breaks on these cars at 100k miles. Use a high grade synthetic oil and Volvo filters

Treat it as a run to fail vehicle for the next 50k miles, replacing parts as they go for best cost of ownership.

Glove test for Pcv
Compression test for motor
Check oil consumption for stem seal problems

Turbo exhaust valves no longer available so don’t let a burned valve happen to you.

Unobtanium? Interior parts, especially the plastics that tend to break like anything to do with the dashboard, the door pull cups, the wagon cargo cover. Exterior rubber parts like door seals, roof rail gaskets are now very hit or miss.

Fuel pressure regulator isn't quite unobtanium but it's gotten more difficult.
