However using 215's (45) give a nicer ride with more tire sidewall to help you not bending rims! You can also go with 215/40s (17) which would be the exact SAME tire height as a 205/45 but a bit wider for better cornering but again, a bit less tire which won't help you in the bent wheel and ride comfort area but will be stickier.
All I drive are these cars and own/owned over 12 personally and have sold perhaps a hundred of them so trust me, I know exactly what size and which tire works best for every condition and for each car/wagon made
