Yes he did and it looks very nice but...
It's too large, too wide, (which I mentioned to Matt) and cannot be viewed in 800x600 which is the way I read a screen.
It DID lock up my computer when trying to exit a post and everytime I go to another part of the site it continues to ask me for my log in although I AM logged in :(

For the logging out issue you have - I'd wager a week's pay it's your cookies. Try this https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/forums ... =4&t=16927

Unlike the old forum, if you want to delete your MVS Forums cookies, you don't have to dig around in your browser. Just click that link, then log in again.

As for the size, 600x800 is less than 4% of my users. The extra space for content helps the other 96%.

Increasing the width is not something I did at the drop of a hat. I kept it to 600x800 at the last redesign -- four years ago -- because the 6x8 user numbers were much higher then.

As for your situation, I'd look at it this way: you use the Internet to help your business (sell cars). So it's a tool, just like a mechanic's wrench. So buy good tools like mechanics do... in this case break down and drop $200 on a 19" LCD display, then set it to 1024x768. You'll get the best of both worlds.

Matt,
I know this is picky but is there anyway to make the circled areas a bit larger? Or...bold face the user name? I'm having trouble seeing some of the user names the way they're displayed (could be just my eye sight):

Fair enough although most sites still keep the narrower width
(Some do not, I agree, but most do but it's a PIA to scroll side by side every time). The forums should be left 8 x 6
I did the cookie delete last night so when I go to another part of the site we'll see what happens.
As for locking up, I really don't think cookies have anything to do with that!
