There was a man who stopped in where I worked who drove an older Volvo. He was bragging about how it had 450k on it, so when I had the opportunity to own one of these "fine" automobiles, I jumped at it. I now am wishing I had stumbled or fell when I was jumping. In less than 10K, I have had to replace the ABS module, both inner tie rod ends, and am having hesitation issues when acceleration-as long as I have 2 miles to pass someone doing 40 in a 55, I'm good. So billofdurham, as an owner of a 98, I would advise against getting a volvo that new. Too Much Mass production+Ford influence=poS70.
