Yes OMP is best with those quality bar ends but OXB is sufficient. I mean, we're not driving a 911 or anything.

I am really considering the OBX brace but was wondering about the 2 versions available via Ebay...one brace has metal all round where it bolts on to the strut tower...hey wait a minute..a picture is worth a thousand words right?..

Which one in your opinion is the better brace?
Which one did you get?

I used to do a lot of fab on Baja trucks and buggies and in my opinion the round bar will offer greater strength over the square. Also the fact that the round strut bar is not bent will offer greater rigidity over the bent square bar. Hope this helps.

You know where the irony lies ...the one you deemed inferior is the"new and improved" V2 OBX strut brace ...I'm really disliking the new way of the business world... Thanks for the words of wisdom...I agree with you on both points!!!

althought i understand why you think the square is inferior i must dis agree. if you look closely the round str8 tube is very small in diamater... almost the same size as the bolt holes to mount to the frame across several feet that will have some flex to it unlike the square tube one. also if you look in the photo u will see that arms are fliped upside down in the pic meaning that when installed correctly that arm will sit higher 2"-3" than the square one at the mounting points... the fact that the square one attaches lower and closer to the frame will take alot of stress off the mounting point of the cross bar.

im getting the square one.

Hey, I'm assuming that the square one will clear the turbo pipe? I'd hate to get the bar and have it not fit!
