Now comes decision time for you. Replace the burned valve(s), replace the motor with a used motor, or replace the head with a rebuilt. I lean towards the latter option and if you choose that route Clearwater cylinder heads has been a good source for many of our members - www.cylinder-heads.com . I have no skin in the game as I have not yet had to replace a head and I have no relationship with them.
The ultimate decision depends on what kind of service records you have on the current engine.
