Special Edition 850? No, just Autumn Gold paintcode 423

That is a pretty color and I haven't seen more than two or three, ever. Volvo paint code number is 423.

I'm torn between "invisible-to-police" colors like grey, silver and dark blue, and those rich bright colors that really show off a car's form.

Thanks to all who replied. It is indeed a very pretty color, and the name sounds so interesting, "Autumn Gold." Thanks for the paint code number as well, that will help with any future touch up pen work! I guess not many 850's were painted this color, and from what it sounds like, its a pretty desirable color! You guys are great, gotta love MVS!

U'hem, I think the 1995 850 T5 R yellow color is very nice.

There is something strangely appealing about a banana cream yellow 850.
I've had the pleasure of seeing a T-5 up close and she was a beauty.

wow that 850 sedan looks beautiful and the v70.. well ive never seen any sigle v70 in that color but im almost sure that its a pretty common color on the c70

i noticed this 850 outside in my complex were i live and it looks just like the one your talking about with the special reddish gold paint but i cant tell if there the same but i haven't seen any 850s with this color if any1 wants to confirm if this is the same as the 1 he posted let me no.

I think the one you posted is the more common dark red/maroon. The Autumn Gold is more of a metallic brick red.

Also, I suspect that maroon paint is a repaint job; at least in the pictures, it looks like it needs to be buffed out.
