Removing radiator trouble

there are 4 bolts that attach the condenser to the radiator. the lower ones are easy - both of them are looking right at you in the pictures that the OP provided.

the ones up top that jblackburn showed with the picture - you can get those out by using a universal joint extension if you undo the bolts on each side of the radiator.

Ok so I confused the radiator with the intercooler. The pics I have are from the intercooler, how do I remove that?

You want to remove the intercooler or the condensor?

The intercooler (for the turbo) and radiator drop down together, then separate once you've got it down and out of the car.

Is the condensor wrecked too? It looks bent, but is it still holding an AC charge? If you empty the charge, you'll have to replace that and the AC dryer and then refill the AC system. Ideally, the refrigerant should be evacuated from the system rather than just spraying it out.

Does it matter if the ac condenser works or not? Can I just use it of it's broken or does it help cool the engine because I have not had working ac in my car for the past year

I wouldn't ruin that condenser - just leave it there.

Not sure if this is a good idea or not, but maybe remove it since the A/C doesn't work? Maybe get better airflow to the radiator and intercooler? That is, if it all mounts back up properly. I would've loved that extra space when I replaced mine. Just a thought.
